Second day of the camp.
Yay! Hahahz.. Everything had ended le.. i guess it was a success according to what Janice told me, someone told her it was fun.. =) The day started as we discussed whether we should go ECP as planned. But after listening to Miss Wong's advice, we decide not to go as it might rain or wad. Well.. i noe some of the com members really wanted to go.. but didn't really wan to risk it. So we stayed in school and came up with a last minute plan where we went to LT2 for a talk by Miss Wong.. Lolx. I was like telling the kids" we have some "fun" activity lined up for u all" Then suddenly saw Miss Wong.. I was like " Oh no.." =X Hahaz.. So we went to LT2 and the kids spent more than an hour there ba. I was impressed by Miss Wong's ability to talk so well.. getting the attention of all the kids. Ghim Heng and i were like" Lihai.." =) Then it was game. Tug of war was really fun.. hahaz. but they din noe the secret behind it! haha. timing! So i went to help some groups. Most of the time i was at the sport complex. Then lunch was Mac Donald. Hhahz. Finally for the first time the ex com ate together. The food was really nice.. Hahaz. mac chicken. After lunch, we taught them the theme song" If we hold on together" It was really nice as all the committee members sang. Then we had a mini compeition among the groups.. Then it was preparation for the performances with tea break. Then anotehr round of games. Before dinner. That's when i really got busy.. Oh ya.. before that we went to play against the LEO excom members. Tug of War.. We won the first round cos of timing.. hahahz. then second round they knew timing was impt. And this time they really put up a gd fight. Our timing was like off and their timing was like so perfect. But i guess we din give up though i did give up abit initially. But Shou yu suddenly give way and we sort of gain momenteum and won eventually. Din really expect to win but still.. hahaz.. Then i tink i scolded myself for giving up so soon. = Ya.. then i rushed up the hall and checked whether things were ready.. That's when i kind of panic ba..alot of things were not done and parents were coming in, kids not settled down and etc.. Seriously, for that moment, i was really lost. I passed the mic to John and wanted to ask him help me settled down the groups. But i din. Cos i felt i shldn't pass my responsibilty to others. Then eventually things started to get better when the parents were invited and the kids started to get into the hall. We had so much trouble getting them to sit in one big circle. Then when the game started, the circle were not moving. So i went to tell them to move but there wasn't much response. Then the concert was quite smooth after that ba.. At one point, i was actually quite happy when i see the kids laughing and cheering. I felt that the kids really had fun... Then came my speech. Frankly, i was quite nervous and the script din really work. I said anything that comes to my mind and ended in the way which i wanted. =) The committee members on stage. Then we sang the theme song " If we hold on together" Felt really great.. Then everything's gonna end soon. But i knew our memories would always be there. Hmm.. it is my first time organising a camp. Guess it had really been a challenge for me. I realised alot of things abt being an organiser. To work closely with ur committee members and love them.. lol. =) We had such great fun together. As for me, interacting with people from all walks of life, it had really been enriching for me. Not just the fun and pain, but the frens that i have made. So i would like to thank Janice, Soefie, Farha, Yuanzhi, Charmine, Ghim Heng, Chin Hian, Esti, Kenneth, Calcy and Sylvia. Thanks for their guidances and direction to this blur chairman of theirs. Lolx. Especially Janice. For the past one month, if you haven work closely with me, I would have been lost. Always rmb u people..

Hmm.. guess tat ended my position as a chairman of the camp. Like less a burden le.. hahaz. but still i enjoyed myself alot. Hope i have been a gd leader. School's opening soon. Good nite and god bless.. =)
