Second day of the camp.
Yay! Hahahz.. Everything had ended le.. i guess it was a success according to what Janice told me, someone told her it was fun.. =) The day started as we discussed whether we should go ECP as planned. But after listening to Miss Wong's advice, we decide not to go as it might rain or wad. Well.. i noe some of the com members really wanted to go.. but didn't really wan to risk it. So we stayed in school and came up with a last minute plan where we went to LT2 for a talk by Miss Wong.. Lolx. I was like telling the kids" we have some "fun" activity lined up for u all" Then suddenly saw Miss Wong.. I was like " Oh no.." =X Hahaz.. So we went to LT2 and the kids spent more than an hour there ba. I was impressed by Miss Wong's ability to talk so well.. getting the attention of all the kids. Ghim Heng and i were like" Lihai.." =) Then it was game. Tug of war was really fun.. hahaz. but they din noe the secret behind it! haha. timing! So i went to help some groups. Most of the time i was at the sport complex. Then lunch was Mac Donald. Hhahz. Finally for the first time the ex com ate together. The food was really nice.. Hahaz. mac chicken. After lunch, we taught them the theme song" If we hold on together" It was really nice as all the committee members sang. Then we had a mini compeition among the groups.. Then it was preparation for the performances with tea break. Then anotehr round of games. Before dinner. That's when i really got busy.. Oh ya.. before that we went to play against the LEO excom members. Tug of War.. We won the first round cos of timing.. hahahz. then second round they knew timing was impt. And this time they really put up a gd fight. Our timing was like off and their timing was like so perfect. But i guess we din give up though i did give up abit initially. But Shou yu suddenly give way and we sort of gain momenteum and won eventually. Din really expect to win but still.. hahaz.. Then i tink i scolded myself for giving up so soon. = Ya.. then i rushed up the hall and checked whether things were ready.. That's when i kind of panic ba..alot of things were not done and parents were coming in, kids not settled down and etc.. Seriously, for that moment, i was really lost. I passed the mic to John and wanted to ask him help me settled down the groups. But i din. Cos i felt i shldn't pass my responsibilty to others. Then eventually things started to get better when the parents were invited and the kids started to get into the hall. We had so much trouble getting them to sit in one big circle. Then when the game started, the circle were not moving. So i went to tell them to move but there wasn't much response. Then the concert was quite smooth after that ba.. At one point, i was actually quite happy when i see the kids laughing and cheering. I felt that the kids really had fun... Then came my speech. Frankly, i was quite nervous and the script din really work. I said anything that comes to my mind and ended in the way which i wanted. =) The committee members on stage. Then we sang the theme song " If we hold on together" Felt really great.. Then everything's gonna end soon. But i knew our memories would always be there. Hmm.. it is my first time organising a camp. Guess it had really been a challenge for me. I realised alot of things abt being an organiser. To work closely with ur committee members and love them.. lol. =) We had such great fun together. As for me, interacting with people from all walks of life, it had really been enriching for me. Not just the fun and pain, but the frens that i have made. So i would like to thank Janice, Soefie, Farha, Yuanzhi, Charmine, Ghim Heng, Chin Hian, Esti, Kenneth, Calcy and Sylvia. Thanks for their guidances and direction to this blur chairman of theirs. Lolx. Especially Janice. For the past one month, if you haven work closely with me, I would have been lost. Always rmb u people..

Hmm.. guess tat ended my position as a chairman of the camp. Like less a burden le.. hahaz. but still i enjoyed myself alot. Hope i have been a gd leader. School's opening soon. Good nite and god bless.. =)

First day into the camp..
Hmm.. The first day of camp had ended le.. I'm totally drained..tired... Especially after the long bus journey and to type this entry again.. Today started when i took a deep breath and stepped out of the house telling myself" I can do it de.." So i went to meet calcy and sylvia to carry some stuffs before coming to school in cab.. The registration was chaotic as some parents wanted refund, some kids just registered and leos not coming.. But thanks to yuanzhi, everything was great and done! =) Then i started the camp as soon as possible.. Then suddenly Janice and Yuanzhi were waving their hands to me while pointing at their watch. I was laughing.. lol. Overrun.. So i ended my briefing and went straight into the games. The games were quite successful. Soon it was luch which really tested our ability to handle unforeseen circumstances. Some of the kids could not take spicy food and the malay stall prepare all spicy food for us. So Jnice and i went across the street to get chicken rice for them. But some of the kids din tell us and there wasn't anything we can do to help.. HAis... I overlooked this small detail. Then we sort of had lunch tgt with miss wong and discussed abt the lunch for second day. Tml will be Mac Donald. I'm sure the kids will be happy! =) Then the groups went to prepare for their performances. Yupp... met with some problem but i guess everything's fine now.. Wet games were fun ba.. I was splashed by my fellow leos.. Hhahaz. I guess i was a bit slow ba.. I saw Soefie passing the cups filled with water, chin hian borrowing my hp and samathan smiling at me every other minutes yet i din suspect anything. -___-" So i was innocently watching the game den when everything ended, the leos came close to me and i felt quite weird. 1..2..3..splash! all of them splashed water on me.. I was stunned and speechless lo... Lolx. Thanks to Esti's plan! hahaz.. i guess they had it all planned even before i delivered the cups to them for the game. I nv noe my fellow leos were so dangerous.. lolx.. Well, but i tink we had fun... Then teh camp ended soon after tat.. Well, tml will be another tiring and tough day at ECP. Jia you all excom.. It's our last day as a committee for Dec Street Camp 2006.. =)

hmm.. 2006's ending in 3 days time. Quite fast i will say. Well, let's look forward towards a new year and a new beginning. A lot fo things had happened.. sad, happy, encouraging, disappointing..etc.. Yet all these are part and parcel of our life. Through these, we grow and change for the better. Wad's left behind are unforgettable memories.. If we treasure them, you will see how beautiful and meaningful life is.. No point saying" If only i... " Those words are pointless now.. hmm.. Well.. today wake up at 9am.. Dunno why.. i couldn't sleep the whole nite.. kept waking up and going to slp.. Maybe i'm still troubled.. I know i shouldn't be... Anyway.. went to school dis morning to meet Janice, Yuan Zhi and Charmine.. for camp stuffs.. manage to put up the banner.. =) then we faced some money problem.. I dunno why i was kind of frustrated.. so i kept quiet.. Then went to have lunch.. And Janice and I went to Tampines Mall to get the prizes for the top 3 groups.. Then i realise the meaning behind being simple.. Through a fifty-cent ice cream cone.. lolx.. =) sometimes, if we have less desires... many things can be made much simpler.. There would be less things to worry about... In life, there are lots of complicated things.. why make things more difficult for urself ? All in the name of peace, fun and laughter... i guess..
Camp is coming le... this thursday... and Jun jie had left for taiwan... hope he enjoyed himself.. and ya.. i got the shirt that we have printed.. For all the committee members.. A leader is one who stand firm on his stand no matter what is the situation. He is one who shld make decision rather than freak out.. However, he's not alone.. cos there are his frens, his partners who will assists him in wadever possible way.. I'm ready to take the challenge. There's no way i will freak out..

Hmmm.. merry christmas... Yupp christmas is finally here.. So ironic.. dunno whether to be happy or not.. well.. i guess life has to move on.. yupp.. finally i get the answer le.. Though it was one of my guesses. But i never expect it to be true. I really treasure the time that i have with you. Whatever it is.. always be happy.. Glad that you have move on le.. End~

Went out to City Hall with jia hui, jun jie , adrian and his brother for a dinner at seoul garden. Hahahz.. my first time there. The food was good and we really eat alot.. Thanks to my bunch of gd frens who are so understanding. =) Then went to orchard for countdown. Jia hui and adrian and his brother left soon after a photo cos they had something else on. So left me and jun jie alone. The countdown was great.. The very last sec where everyone point up their spray can and spray... SNOW! hahhaz. though i was disturbed.. but i could feel that everyone was really happy. Kind of numb le.. lolx.. numb to alot of things.. memories after memories. I kind of fail ba.. especially this year.. Next year will be a better year for me, I hope so... I dunno why.. i'm kind of tired le.. mentally and physically.. maybe i shld really take a break.. but camp starting this thursday and friday.. I felt something amiss.. maybe i jus lack the confidence ba... Hope everything will be fine. Then school will reopen soon. My second year as a JC student. Sometimes things just happen for no apparent reason. Unexpected twist in life. till now.. i still wonder why and what really went wrong... But then.. i haven have the courage to ask. cos i rather not say anything. God bless and nite..

A break..
Finally can take a break.. poster for attachment is done. Banner for camp concert nite is done. application form shld be done. Hahahz.. almost everything shld be settled except my holiday homework.. hais.. been tired and busy.. wonder how's teh rest doing.. To yj.. if u r looking at it.. i dunnoe wad to do.. hahaz.. sian.. Anyway.. When one gets busy.. it help to get things off one's mind.. Things will turn out fine de.. i noe... Just paint our banner today.. thanks for all the effort.. we did a great job.. went bugis to do it.. =) then went to vivocity wit janice... lolx.. er first time dere. But guess she had fun. i was a gd guide afterall.. rite ?

Hmm.. it's been quite long since i last posted.. well.. it's the end of my attachment le.. but still as busy with my camp stuffs and my homeworks.. hais.. wonder if i would be able to finish.. try my best ba.. Went to school on saturaday for a meeting where we went to ECP for our game rehersal.. As a result, i can't make it for the basketball gathering for 2306.. so sorry.. =X Hope they had a great time there. Then went to jia hui's house with jun jie. he was painting his house so we sort of helped him ba.. then chen ee came too... lolx.. so long since the four of us gather at one place. Hahhaz.. had some fun though.. Met some old frens and yupp.. get to know some of them better.. I guess the attachment was a realy good experience ba.. Thanks to all the people there who help me. I might be back there one day... hahaz.. if i failed to become a doctor.. anyway.. SK was there all these while and he even saw me but never called me.. diao.. I haven seen him since last year le.. OBS's fren.. Had fun with him during the camp.. lol..

Some of the JC2 already found a job.. jia you k ? There's a time to enjoy and there's a time to work.. Whatever it is, we have to give it our everything. =) Will be busy with preparation for the camp.. take care.. and god bless..

Finally, i couldn't take it liao.. guess i have been too tired.. diarrhoea, fever, cough, headache. jus came to me. Lolx.. overworked.. mus relac abit le.. after astar attachment ba.. besides preparing for the camp i shall be abit more relacing.. =) Well, computer was down for the last few days so i couldn't check my email or blog.. receive emial from the national youth development.. they r enthusiatic abt giving me funds.. i'm so happy. lol. jus gt to fill in forms again and send back.. then guess wad. tj bookshop uncle lived in hougang.. thank god.. lol. how convenient can it be for me.. i have to pass him the designs for the tshirt and now he lived in hougang! i was still worried abt having to go bac to tj one of these days.. kenneth and sylvia had sent me their detailed proposal respectively le.. so gd.. everything is coming tgt le.. ~phew.. thanks to all who help me throughout this busy and problematic period of mine.

Let's talk about tat day when i went to cuiyun's parent shop in vivocity.. yup.. her parents have a shop there. hahaz.. surprising ? anyway.. it's called vitakids! go buy something if u r feeling unhealthy.. =X or wanna get healthier.. =) Anyway.. went to meet her after my attachment on monday. she brought me to some shops that i have nv been to yet.. like the JAP $2 shop.. so gd.. and the pet shop.. it was very nice seeing those pets.. =) then we talked a bit of craps and yup.. i headed home.. oh ya.. she let me tried the rice chips there.. go and buy if u wanna noe how gd it is.. hahaz.. $6.50 one packet.. =X well.. not tat bad rite ? lolx..

Then went for attachment yesterday... there was a fire drill in my building.. er.. it was so hot standing under the sun( no diff from being in the fire ba.. i was tinking of tat.. lolx) and one person actually fainted in front of me! Then a man carried her all the way back.. well.. kind of waste of time tat fire drill.. but quite fun..

yupp.. then today woke up at 7.30am.. so tired tat i could'nt keep my eyes open. and this fever of mine haven sudsided. And the cough jus came... so i din go for attachment and stayed at home before accompanying my sister to buy a dvd player.. =) finally gt one le.. then went straight to adrian hse for a movie.. quite tiring.. we watched saw3.. =X a bit disgusting.. lolx.. Then his mother cooked a delicious yet nutritional dinner for us.. thanks! Well, it's kind of a mini gathering..

well.. i'm glad i talked things out with terence.. it's much better le.. so happy.. all the best to adrian and terence for their pennang trip tml.. for hockey.. have fun.. =) Hmm.. a bit headache now.. shalln't blog le.. two days in astar.. jia you.. and god bless.. take care all..

Hmm.. went out last nite with adrian and jun jie to orchard road. Well, it was kind of a last min plan so we din do much but just walked around ba. Went back to taka and saw Nor.. She's still working there as a sales promoter.. hais.. guess wad.. cherence has resigned le and Karen Neuburger has been shifted to a small shelf.. how pathetic.. but then again.. glad to see my old frens dere..
